I have been teaching and mentoring undergraduate students since 2013. At Hawai’i Pacific University, I teach courses for the Marine Affairs (B.A.) and Marine Science (B.S.) majors and Masters of Science in Marine Science (MSMS), as well as courses for the Environmental Science and Environmental Studies programs. I have previously taught college courses in geography, anthropology, and sustainability. I am committed to helping my students gain the professional skills and critical understanding needed to address environmental challenges, including climate change, environmental justice, and sustainability.

My goal is to help students contribute to transformative change to address urgent environmental and social justice issues.

“She was very easy to talk to and communicate with. She is one of my favorite professors now after taking this class. I would definitely recommend her class or take another one of her classes.”
